ABOUT THE ARTIST
The young artist from Schwabach, Germany has given up his professional career as an ice hockey player to fully concentrate on his true passion, art. He has developed a unique technique with which he impressively demonstrates his zeitgeist and strikes a chord with collectors of all ages.
Initially, he photographs natural and authentic situations or people in everyday life. The resulting photos are printed on Polaroid and then crumpled. Due to this random deformation process, each artwork becomes unique. He then meticulously paints the torn structure in photorealistic detail onto a wooden panel using acrylics, on an oversized scale. Finally, this panel is precisely milled to match the deformed Polaroid original, giving the artwork an additional great tactile quality.
